Applications Open for the 2027–2028 Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program
The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program offers eligible faculty members the opportunity to conduct research in the United States for a period of 3 to 9 months during the 2027–2028 academic year.
About the Program
Applications are now open for the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program (Academic Research Grant), administered by the Turkish Fulbright Commission.
The program offers faculty members who obtained their PhD at least five years prior to the application deadline the opportunity to conduct research in their fields at universities and research institutions in the United States during the 2027–2028 academic year for a period of 3 to 9 months.
Support Provided Through the Grant
Living Expenses
Support is provided toward living expenses during the grant period.
Health Insurance
Health insurance support is provided under the program.
Professional Development
Professional development activities are supported through the grant.
Travel Support
Travel support is provided for the grantee and one eligible dependent.
