About Us

METU RESEARCH COORDINATION OFFICE

We coordinate research with an institutional approach.

About Us and Our Institutional Role

The METU Research Coordination Office was established in 1994 to develop the University's research potential and strengthen the coordination among research activities.

The Office works towards the development of research policies and priorities, the coordination of national and international research, and the support of collaboration among the units within the research ecosystem.

The METU Research Coordination Office operates to promote the University's research potential, increase the visibility of academic staff who are experts in their fields and research units, strengthen the relations of research centers and laboratories with industry, and coordinate nationally and internationally supported research conducted at the University.

The Office contributes to bringing together the needs of researchers and research units with relevant support mechanisms, monitoring the institutional research capacity, and developing a collaborative working approach in line with the University's research priorities.
