Units and Responsibilities
TPYDO
Teknokent Project Management and Consultancy Office
Located within METU Teknokent, it provides the necessary support so that our University’s researchers can benefit from all internationally funded R&D projects—especially EU Framework Programmes—while focusing on their scientific work.
This is the unit where the activities carried out by University researchers within the scope of DSİM (projects, consultancy, training, and testing services) are managed. Project applications are evaluated by the DSİM Commission.
RCO
Research Coordination Office
It ensures the determination and implementation of the University’s research strategies and provides overall coordination of research activities at our University.
It manages the budget and personnel procedures of all R&D projects conducted at our University. It also coordinates BAP projects funded by the University budget.
It carries out university–industry collaboration, registration, and commercialization of academic inventions. It organizes the entire process from patenting to company formation.
It supports access to and management of national and international externally funded resources, especially EU Framework Programmes and TÜBİTAK projects.
This unit manages the coordination of Research Centers, monitoring of SBB Investment Projects, implementation of the SAYP program, and processes related to the LABS portal.
