The Office of Research Coordination

Strengthening the university–industry–research ecosystem since 1994.

About Us

The Office of Research Coordination was established in 1994 to promote the University’s research potential, strengthen the links between industry and the academic staff and units that are experts in their fields, as well as research centers and laboratories, and to coordinate nationally and internationally funded research carried out at the University.

The Office consists of two sub-units operating under its coordination:

  • Project Support Office (PDO), and
  • Centers Coordination Office (CCO).

Project Support Office (PDO)

Supports the University-wide process of accessing and managing all nationally and internationally funded R&D resources, primarily EU Framework Programmes (Horizon Europe, etc.) and TÜBİTAK projects.

Centers Coordination Office (CCO)

Coordinates the establishment and activities of Application and Research Centers affiliated with the Rectorate, and follows up processes under Law No. 6550; additionally, it coordinates the SAYP program and the LABS portal.
