AI-Supported and Quantum-Enhanced Control Strategies for Stable, Inverter-Dominated Electricity Grids

Prof. Dr. Murat Göl and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ozan Keysan, faculty members of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, have been awarded funding as consortium partners in the ACQUIRE project.

The project will develop novel control strategies and AI-based tools that enable renewable energy inverters to take on a stabilizing role in the electricity grid; these solutions will be tested at seven pilot sites across Europe, including Türkiye.

On behalf of the METU Research Coordination Office, we sincerely congratulate our faculty members Prof. Dr. Murat Göl, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ozan Keysan, and their project team on this remarkable international achievement, and wish them continued success in their research endeavors.

Kind regards,

METU Research Coordination Office
